About Confianza Healthcare

An Arizona non-profit corporation, founded in December 2023 and based in Avondale, serving underserved people and people in need.

Our purpose

These are the objectives written into our bylaws, word for word.

  1. To educate the community about mental health and destigmatize associated stereotypes and misconceptions.
  2. To increase awareness and understanding of mental health disorders, their causes, symptoms, and available treatment options.
  3. To promote early intervention and prevention strategies for mental health issues through education, awareness campaigns, and outreach programs.
  4. To provide support and resources to individuals and families affected by mental health disorders.
  5. To advocate for better access to affordable and quality mental health care services.
  6. To collaborate with local healthcare providers, organizations, and agencies to improve mental health services and ensure a coordinated approach to mental health care.
  7. To conduct research and gather data on mental health needs, trends, and gaps in services within the community.
  8. To offer training and workshops on mental health to professionals, educators, first responders, and community members.
  9. To engage in public policy advocacy at local, state, and national levels to address and prioritize mental health issues.
  10. To foster a supportive and inclusive community that promotes mental wellness and overall well-being for all individuals.

Tax-exempt status

The IRS has determined that Confianza Healthcare is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and classifies it as a public charity. Donors can deduct contributions as the law allows.

They are two separate organizations that share leadership and a logo. Confianza Healthcare is the non-profit. Confianza Health is a behavioral-health agency. A gift to Confianza Healthcare supports the non-profit's programs only.
